Followups in J4J are called Tasks. They are found under the Tasks tab.

Tasks are sorted by your own follow ups and unassigned follow ups. All donation that come in online will be unassigned and the scheduling team will complete them. All donations that come in by phone will be assigned to the rep that took the call. Anytime you enter a lead, please make sure to create a lead followup assigned to you. EVERY REP IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN DONATION’S/LEAD’S TASKS. The tasks assigned to you will be listed under the mine tab shown below.

To complete a task, click on the check box icon to the left.

Tasks show different colors depending on their timing which starts at midnight of each date they are set for:
• Yellow means it is due today
• Blue means due tomorrow
• Red means it is past-due
If the task is assigned, it will have the rep’s initials in an individual color. For example, E Green is a pink EG.
The task screen can also be sorted or filtered like the donation screen. (by due date, assigned to, subject…)

Use the 3 dots on the right to either edit the tasks or to open the donation.

Create a task by clicking on ‘+.’ Manually enter the Subject, Description and date.
To open only a task from within a record, use the three dots and click ‘view donation’.

If you try to complete a follow up ONLY FROM THE TASK SCREEN, it gives you a pop up to confirm and allow you to undo it. (From the donation screen you do not receive this message. But you can go into the completed tasks and manually undo it) That colorful line slowly gets shorter for a few seconds until the pop up goes away.
